Our Programs

HOPE Center for the Arts

Springfield’s new hub for creativity, the HOPE Center for the Arts offers free after-school programs in dance, theater, music, photography, creative writing, and more. Young people learn alongside professional teaching artists in a state-of-the-art performing arts center, building skills, confidence, and community.

This initiative supports literacy through programs designed for striving readers in middle and high school. Using engaging, research and evidence-based methods, the program helps students build critical reading skills while fostering a lifelong love of learning and raising their grade-level reading skills.
